PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN DAN LEVERAGE TERHADAP MANAJEMEN LABA PERUSAHAAN JASA SUBSEKTOR TRANSPORTASI YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA TAHUN 2016 – 2019

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of profitability, company size and leverage on profit management. The objects of this research are the transportation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2019. This research is in the form of a quantitative descriptive study. The sampling technique used in this reasearch is purposive sampling method. The number of samples used in this reseacrch are 31 of sub-sector companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study are secondary data in the form of annual reports and annual financial reports of all transportation sub-sector service companies listed on the IDX in the 2016-2019 period and can be accessed from www.idx.co.id or on the official website of each company. The result of this study showed: Profitability has no effect on profit management, company size has no effect on profit management, Leverage has no effect on profit management.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, dan leverage terhadap manajemen laba. Objek penelitian ini pada perusahaan subsektor transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2016-2019. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 31 perusahaan subsektor transportasi yang terdaftar di BEI. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa laporan tahunan dan laporan keuangan tahunan semua perusahaan jasa subsektor transportasi yang terdaftar di BEI pada periode tahun 2016-2019 dan dapat diakses dari www.idx.co.id atau situs resmi masing-masing perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: Profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba, Ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba, Leverage tidak berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba.
