Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Penilaian Kemampuan Daya Serap Siswa Menggunakan Metode Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART)

Abstract

SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra Jambi City is a high school that pays attention to every teaching process to teach students and supports the abilities and achievements of students. To assess the ability of students absorption so that the calculation process becomes more effective, fast, efficient and more objective, it is necessary to build a tool in the form of a decision support system that can help schools see the value of their students' absorption based on what has been determined and supports decision making. The decision support system method used is the simple multi-attribute assessment technique (SMART), which is a multi-attribute decision-making method used to support decision makers in choosing between several alternatives. The benefit of this research is to make power as a benchmark for understanding the level of students' understanding of the subjects taught by a teacher, and to make it easier for teachers to determine students with high absorption scores. Input data consisted of student data, and assessment criteria, namely material assessment, then processed with the SMART method, and the resulting output of student absorption in the form of a final report, namely the appearance of the top 5 students in Indonesian language lessons for grade 10 at SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra. City. Jambi. The application program is built with PHP which is connected to the MySQL database. The results of the assessment show that the highest absorption score is a student with a NIK of 015 with a very good score, so that it can be recommended as the best student.
