PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL DAN KETERLIBATAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN DIMEDIASI MOTIVASI INTRINSIK

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of transformational leadership style on work engagement on employee performance mediated by intrinsic motivation. The population in this study were 50 employees of the hotel ashofa Sidoarjo. The sample consists of 50 employees at all different managerial levels, job responsibilities, gender, and educational background taken from the Ashofa Hotel in Sidoarjo. The results of this study are transformational leadership has a positive effect on employee performance, transformational leadership has a positive effect on intrinsic motivation, transformational leadership has a positive effect on work engagement, intrinsic motivation has a positive effect on employee performance, transformational leadership, work engagement on employee performance mediated by intrinsic motivation has a positive effect , work engagement has no effect on performance. The results of this study can contribute to an understanding of the functions and roles of transformational leadership, work engagement, and intrinsic motivation to improve employee performance at Ashofa Sidoarjo Hotel.


Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap work engagement terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh motivasi intrinsik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 karyawan hotel ashofa Sidoarjo. Sampel terdiri dari 50 karyawan di semua tingkat manajerial yang berbeda, tanggung jawab pekerjaan, jenis kelamin, dan latar belakang pendidikan yang diambil dari Hotel Ashofa di Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi intrinsik, kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap work engagement, motivasi intrinsik berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, kepemimpinan transformasional, work engagement terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi motivasi intrinsik berpengaruh positif, work engagement tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi pemahaman tentang fungsi dan peran kepemimpinan transformasional, keterikatan kerja, dan motivasi intrinsik untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di Hotel Ashofa Sidoarjo.
